Ex-Tender · Quick-Attach Water System

Water where
the work happens.
Meet the Ex-Tender.

The Ex-Tender mounts where your counterweight sits — or on the blade — bringing water and fire suppression capability to the job site. Compatibility and configuration are confirmed individually.

One tank system, two places to run it

Every Ex-Tender tank uses the same quick-attach interface. Where you mount it depends on the job — and you can run multiple tanks across positions at once.

REAR / COUNTERWEIGHT

Rear mount

Replaces the standard counterweight entirely — quick-attach tanks, no separate ballast to manage. The only configuration for standing water capacity on the machine.

BLADE POSITION

Blade mount

Keeps the tank forward and low for machines running without a rear counterweight, or when water needs to be positioned for faster boom-side access.

Every tank also works without the machine

Each Ex-Tender unit is a complete standalone system — not just an attachment. Stage water on a site before any equipment arrives, and connect it to the machine only when you need it.

  • 01 100-foot hose and pump built into every tank, independent of the excavator
  • 02 Prestage tanks at a site ahead of equipment mobilization
  • 03 Quick-attach to the boom when the machine is ready to work

Suppress while you operate

A cab-side nozzle mounted on the boom lets the operator apply water directly from the machine — no second operator, no second vehicle, no pause in the work the excavator is already doing.

  • 01 Boom-mounted, cab-side nozzle position
  • 02 Draws from any attached or staged tank
  • 03 Runs concurrently with normal excavator operation

Built in the field, for the field

250+ hours of prototype testing shaped every mount point and hose run on this system.

Blaze Runner is in active conversations with state forestry agencies and private timber operators across the Pacific Northwest about deploying the Ex-Tender on active sites. Order now to join the first production run.
